XJ 400 KaQ

The XJ 400 Ka-Q is designed to receive signal in Ka band ad transmit in Q band frequencies. It is possible to customize the antenna in a wide range of configuration. The modularity of the system guarantees the  possibility to be uses allow the product to be used as Gateway as for as IOT station. The system can be part  of a fixed station, a relocatable station, or customized to be part of a transportable station mounted in a shelter or on a trailer. To satisfy any needs, depending from the application, it is possible to allocate several types of amplifiers, LNA’s and converters directly installed on the reflector back structure. The four ports in circular polarization Feed (TX LHCP-RHCP and RX LHCP-RHCP) helps ensure great potential for the system that use it. As soon as the optimal antenna configuration is defined, it can be used with e different type of modems.
XJ 400 Ka-Q can combine high performance and light weight due to be quickly integrated or relocated. High pointing accuracy guaranteed by a stiff structure, full Carbon-Epoxy reflector and a Monopulse tracking system.

XJ 400 KA-Q terminal is available or circular polarization and operates at 42.5GHz to 43,92GHz in uplink and at 19GHz to 21.2GHz in downlink.


The basic components are:​

Antenna subsystem

Functions

The main reflector is made in carbon-epoxy, it is composed of a central part to which the eight petals are connected, and the reflective surface is metalized to have very low ohmic losses. The structure is designed to guest up to three 140W TWTA in a 2+1 redundancy system, and it is possible to have any LNA redundancy system plate. The high pointing accuracy required for Q band is guarantee by a very stiff structure, together with very accurate dish surface (with a value better that 0,2mm RMS) and a Monopulse  Subsystem.



The antenna subsystem includes the sustaining  and pointing mechanical structure, the reflector and the feed assembly integrated with sub-reflector. The motion is azimuth over elevation. The

elevation travel is motorized from 0 up to 90 degrees. The azimuth travel is manually full motion and motorized +/- 25 degrees. The pedestal has a circular flange to be used as interface for the ground, for non penetrating mounting, or for a trailer.

The pointing control system is based on the equipment with sorted as following:
