The installation of the second Ka-band antenna in Angola has been completed
Almost everything is ready. In Funda, Angola, at the Satellite Control and Mission Center (MCC), as part of the launch program of the ANGOSAT 2 satellite, the last details of the installation of the BT 750 Ka antenna equipped with a pointing system with '' Monopulse '' technology on board the ACU AC1101Mp.
BT 750 Ka and AC1101Mp are two jewels fielded by A4X Engineering to guarantee the best performance during the IoT (In Orbit Test) phases for the ANGOSAT 2 Ka-band satellite.
The specialized staff of STEC.COM and GGPEN literally devoured the containers as soon as they arrived at their destination at the Funda base and also thanks to the definition of the installation manuals they put the system into operation and aimed the first satellite after a little more than a week.
Now, while awaiting the launch and LEOP phases of the Satellite, the control center staff has plenty of time to train and become more familiar with all the functions the system is equipped with.
